Team Coaching & Conflict Resolution
We facilitate processes in teams to improve team dynamics, communication, goal setting, self reflection and conflict resolution. We work with what is there and what is really needed.
How we work?
We always start with getting a more profound understanding of the dynamics of your team. When we have clarity, we start planning our interventions. When working with teams we consider three levels - the individuals which are in the team, the group situation and how they are embedded into the organization. Our interventions address the challenges in these three areas and are different for every team and every situation.
We work with teams that are:
Stuck and lack alignment and direction.
Avoding conflicts or do not know how to address them.
Seeking change towards more self-governance and less hierarchy.
Lacking clarity about their direction and purpose.
Lacking tools and structures.
We work towards:
The team becoming more aware of the dynamics and seeing where dynamics get in the way of the work.
Team members seeing each other more fully and appreciating each other’s diversity.
Turning the culture of talking behind backs and not addressing tension into one where a team has the skills to deal responsibly and effectively with their own conflicts.
Finding clarity for their direction and purpose.
How could it look like?
We believe in processes and interventions that are tailor-made to meet you where you are at in the moment. Here is an example of how working with conflict prevention for a team could look like:
Interviews: To make sure that we capture the situation from every perspective.
Mirroring Session: Bringing our analysis and hypothesis back to the team.
Working with what is needed: Input sessions, individual coaching, mediation etc.
Follow-up Dialogue: reflecting collectively and (re-)creating alignment.
Don't be afraid of conflict
Conflicts and tensions that are under the surface are normal and exist in all groups and teams. We take special care of conflicts that are under the surface and bring them to group-consciousness.
It is quite normal to fear the complexity caused by conflict. But working as a group naturally means working with a sea of dilemmas and complexities that shouldn‘t be marginalized, suppressed or rushed over. Why? There are two main reasons. First of all suppressing what disturbs us will only cause a resistance under the surface, secondly we believe that the marginalised parts carry important messages that need to be heard and integrated by the team. When this happens the team can finally move on powerfully. That is why we work with conflict as a resource, and help you confront and handle your own conflicts.

«The team coaching with SEINHEIT is authentic, varied and always with a pinch of humor, which contributes to a positive mood in the sessions. Thanks to the special gift of intercultural communication, everyone in the team is picked up and competently accompanied through the process. The successes are clearly evident in the way we deal with each other, in the newly won team spirit and also in the commitment of individual employees.»
